No. StayRatings does not accept payment for reviews, rankings, featured placement or favourable editorial treatment. Commercial arrangements never influence our scores, our writing or our decision to publish.
We book and pay for our stays wherever possible. If a complimentary stay is unavoidable due to operational constraints, it is disclosed within our editorial process and never influences the assessment.
No. Hotels do not approve, edit or sign off on reviews before publication. We may verify factual details — room categories, opening dates, names — but editorial judgement and opinion remain entirely ours.
